SGS
A downloadable game for Windows
Rise up, comrade. Humanity's reckoning has come. The hour of the gnomes is finally at hand.
SGS, codenamed "Project Gnome Alone 2: Lost in New York" was my team's entry in AlphaLab's 30-hour December game jam 2016 (AlphaLab is Columbia College Chicago's game dev club). At the beginning of the jam, each team was given an envelope. Teams were told that each envelope contained a different theme, and that they must keep their theme a secret. Unbeknownst to them, every envelope simply contained the word "gnomes."
Our entry featured the proletarian uprising of the gnomes, and the corresponding gameplay basically revolved around the destruction of historical buildings.
Like all AlphaLab jams, there were a lot of members - please see the in-game credits for all the people involved.
If you gave up guessing what SGS stands for, it's Secret Gnome Society.
